Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 25, 2026

At Image Resize, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how our image size reducer handles your data when you use our service. The core principle of our service is that we never upload your images — all processing happens locally in your browser.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. Since all image processing occurs entirely on your device using the Canvas API, we never receive, store, or transmit your images or any data derived from them. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any other form of user surveillance.

How Your Images Are Processed

When you use our image size converter, your selected image is read by your browser and processed locally using JavaScript. The image data is rendered onto an HTML5 Canvas element, resized or compressed according to your settings, and then made available for download — all within your browser's memory. At no point is your image data transmitted over the network.

Third-Party Services

Our website does not embed any third-party tracking scripts, analytics services, or advertising networks. We believe that using an image resizer should not come at the cost of your privacy. The only external resources loaded are the Astro framework itself, the Inter and JetBrains Mono fonts from Google Fonts, and Tailwind CSS — none of which have access to your images or personal data.

Data Retention

Since we do not collect or transmit any data, there is nothing to retain. Your images are processed temporarily in your browser's memory and are permanently removed when you close the page or tab. No copies are stored on any server.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your privacy.
